Monday 26th December – False Alarm, We’re Staying Home

While Sabrina and I were feeling better, Alex was hitting rock bottom. After talking to his friends in Dortmund that we were going to visit, we called it off, since his friend was also sick. Better to stay separate and not cross-contaminate. So, we were faced with another day inside. After many hours of Netflix again, I was going crazy and there were clear blue skies outside, which made it even more difficult, so I went out for a walk. Alex and Sabrina joined me, wandering around the neighbourhood aimlessly, and we actually made a good discovery in an Aldi grocery store within walking distance of Alex’s place that he didn’t know about.

We stayed out for about an hour, the sun nice, but the cold still persistent. We did some shopping at the Aldi (yes, more shopping) and made pizza when we got home. The dough didn’t work out the greatest with the whole wheat flour Alex had, but with the toppings it was nice enough. No fancy dessert this time, we were all stuffed from the pizza.

We watched more Netflix before bed for something different and set alarms so we could get up early for the long drive to Berlin tomorrow.

Netflix fact: Most of the movies are CRAP.
